Terms and conditions of use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the Pico & Pala website and services. Read them before creating your account: by signing up or using the service you declare that you accept them.
1. Who provides the service
Pico & Pala is a 1v1 number deduction game operated by Auron Tale Games (the "Operator"), tax ID C.C. 1088316772, domiciled at Calle 100 #16A-72, Pereira, Colombia. You can reach us at sam94c@gmail.com.
Accepting these terms by electronic means (ticking the sign-up checkbox or using the service) is fully valid as a data message under Colombian Law 527 of 1999.
2. Who can use the service
You must have the legal capacity to enter into agreements. People under 18 may only sign up with the authorization of their parents or legal guardian, who are responsible for the use made of the account. Sign-ups by people under 14 are not allowed.
If we detect an account that does not meet these requirements we may suspend it and delete the associated data.
3. Your account
- You must provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
- Your username must be 3 to 20 letters or numbers and must not impersonate anyone or be offensive.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Each person may have one account and may not transfer it to others.
4. What the service offers today
The service is free. Currently available: the mode against artificial intelligence, match and statistics history, and the ELO points and ranks tied to your account.
Other features you may see mentioned, such as private rooms, the global arena or watching other players' matches, are not available yet. We do not guarantee release dates. ELO and rank are internal game indicators; they have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed.
5. Rules of conduct
You agree to use the service in good faith. The following is prohibited:
- Cheating, or using automated programs, bots or any tool that gives an unfair advantage.
- Trying to access systems or accounts without authorization, bypassing security measures, reverse engineering or overloading the service.
- Using the service for unlawful activities, including conduct defined in Colombian Law 1273 of 2009 on computer crimes.
- Harassing, threatening or impersonating other users, or using usernames or profile pictures that infringe third-party rights.
6. Intellectual property
The software, the "Pico & Pala" brand, the design, texts, illustrations and other elements of the service belong to the Operator or its licensors and are protected by Colombian Law 23 of 1982, Andean Decision 351 of 1993 and Andean Decision 486 of 2000, among other rules.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are transferred to you.
7. Content you provide
Your username and, where the feature is available, your profile picture may be visible to other users. You warrant that you have the right to use them and authorize us to display them within the service while your account is active. You are responsible for that content.
8. Availability, changes and suspension
We aim to keep the service available, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance, failures or causes beyond our control. We may modify, suspend or withdraw features.
We may suspend or cancel your account if you breach these terms, stating the reason where possible. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data under the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the Operator is not liable for indirect damages arising from its use.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the warranties, rights or liabilities that Colombian law grants consumers on a non-waivable basis, nor any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Consumer rights
The service is free and involves no payments. If paid features are enabled in the future, before you purchase them we will tell you the price, the conditions and the rights granted by the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011), including the right of withdrawal and payment reversal where applicable.
You may submit requests, complaints or claims through the contact channel above. You may also go to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), the consumer protection authority.
11. Personal data
The processing of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and complies with Law 1581 of 2012.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date and, if the change is substantial, give you reasonable advance notice. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you are deemed to accept it; if you disagree, you may stop using it.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent Colombian authorities, without prejudice to the rights and actions you have as a consumer.
